Terms of Service

Last updated 18 August 2026. Effective from that date.

Timelo is a web application for scheduling field crews, approving their hours and posting notices that require a read confirmation. It is a product of Blue Wind (bwnd). These terms are the agreement between Blue Wind and you when you use it. They are written to be read, not to be survived.

1. Who this agreement is with

Timelo is operated by Blue Wind, referred to here as “Blue Wind”, “we” or “us”. “You” means the person using Timelo. Where you use Timelo on behalf of a company, “you” also means that company, and you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

By creating an account, joining a company with a code or an invitation, or otherwise using Timelo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use it.

2. What Timelo is

Timelo is a hosted web application. There is nothing to install; it runs in a browser. It provides crew scheduling, conflict detection on assignments, timesheet reporting and approval, self-service time off, and company notices that can require a per-person read confirmation.

It is not an accounting, invoicing, payroll or payments system, and it is not a system of record for employment. It does not calculate pay, tax or statutory entitlements. Hours recorded in Timelo are what your people reported and what a manager approved — treat them as an input to your own payroll process, not as its output.

Timelo is a young product under active development. Features described on this site are the ones that exist today; some will change.

3. Accounts, companies and roles

A Timelo account belongs to one person and sits inside one company. The first person to sign up creates the company and becomes a manager. Everyone else joins that company either with its join code or through an emailed invitation, and joins as crew.

A join code lets anyone who holds it add themselves to your company as crew. Treat it as a credential: share it with the people you mean to add, and ask a manager to rotate it if it gets out.

One email address belongs to one account in one company. Accounts are personal — do not share a login between people, both because it makes read confirmations and approved hours meaningless and because it makes it impossible to tell who did what.

4. What you are responsible for

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Timelo to:

We may suspend or remove an account that is doing any of this. Where the situation allows it, we will tell you first.

If you find a security problem, please report it to [email protected] rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue you for good-faith research that stops at the point of proof and does not touch other people's data.

6. Your data

What you and your crew put into Timelo stays yours. We do not claim ownership of it, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.

We hold it in order to run the service for you: to show it back to the right people, to keep it safe, to fix problems, and to make backups. A manager can export or delete their company's data, and any individual can ask us to delete theirs — the Privacy Policy sets out exactly what we store and for how long.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you must retain for legal or tax reasons. Do not treat Timelo as your only record of hours worked.

7. Availability and change

We aim to keep Timelo available and working, but we do not promise a particular level of uptime. There will be maintenance, and there will be outages we did not plan. We may add, change or remove features.

If we are going to remove something you rely on, or make a change that would lose data, we will give you reasonable notice by email where we can.

8. Pricing

Timelo is currently free to start. Pricing for larger crews is available on request. If we introduce a charge that would apply to your company, we will tell you before it takes effect and you will be able to decline it and stop using the service. We will not start charging an existing account without notice.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Timelo at any time, and ask us to delete your account by writing to [email protected]. Deleting a company deletes the people, jobs, visits, hours and notices inside it.

We may suspend or end your access if you materially break these terms, if your use puts the service or other users at risk, or if we stop operating Timelo. Other than for a serious breach, we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to get your data out.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Timelo is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Blue Wind will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, or lost or corrupted data, arising out of or relating to your use of Timelo — even if we were told such damages were possible.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Timelo in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. For a change that materially reduces your rights, we will give notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Timelo after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho and the applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Idaho have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, and you consent to venue there.

Before starting formal proceedings, please write to us — nearly everything at this size is faster to fix in an email than in a court.
